Shipping & Returns

Damaged In Transit: We guarantee that all of our nursery stock and other products are carefully handled and packaged properly to help ensure their safe arrival. If your product arrives damaged, please refuse shipment. The damaged products will be shipped back to us. Once we receive the returned shipment, we will gladly reship new plants or merchandise if available in stock. If we are currently out of stock of that item we will gladly offer a substitute of equal or greater value or refund your purchase. We will not be responsible for shipping delays or damages incurred by the shipping carrier. If you live in an area experiencing snow storms or other extreme weather, weather delays may add an additional 1 to 2 days to the estimated delivery date of your order, this can result in unexpected plant loss which is not covered under our guarantee.

Healthy Plants: As with all living plants, containerized or bare root, there is the possibility that during shipping plant loss can occur. We have properly cared for your newly purchased plants to help ensure their safe arrival.

If you experience plant loss please contact us so a replacement can be arranged. You can contact us via phone (1-888-622-5822).

Unauthorized returns will be refused and sent back at the customer’s expense. All warranty claims must be received by Teich Nursery Services LLC immediately upon delivery of your plants to the address specified by the order. Claims received by Teich Nursery Services LLC after one week of delivery will not be honored for live merchandise. Product replacement will only be sent to the original shipping address. Claims will not be accepted if the shipping address is different than the original shipping address. If we are currently out of stock of that item we will gladly offer a substitute of equal or greater value or refund your purchase. You will be responsible for standard shipping and handling for the replacements as posted on our web site.

Our guarantee does not cover plants planted in fill, scraped ground, or ground unsuitable for those species. Any destruction of plants pursuant to weather, livestock, drought, insecticides or herbicides, fires, floods, etc. are not covered by this guarantee. Our guarantee does not cover plants that are planted in a Zone(s) not recommended for the plant. In the event of multiple claims or excessive losses, we may require a soil test be completed to rule out soil compatibility problems. It is mutually agreed that seller will not at any time be liable for any amount greater than the original purchase price of nursery stock.

When your plants arrive: If your plant stock arrives on a cloudy day, plant them right away. If it is hot and sunny, please wait to plant your seedlings until late afternoon or early evening. Make a small hole deep enough (approx 3-5 inches) to place the seedling into and ensure proper spacing between plants. Compress soil around roots firmly taking care not to crush or break the stems or roots. Water the new planting liberally and let it soak in. This soaking gives the roots plenty of moisture to get off to a good start. If temperatures still dip below freezing at night, protect newly planted vegetables by covering them with protective cones or other frost protection.

Shipping Policies: Shipping to and from Teich Nursery Services LLC is at the customer's expense and varies according to weight, size, shipping type and location. Shipping is non-refundable.

Due to the nature of our product we are unable to ship to PO or PMB boxes. All deliveries of live merchandise must be delivered to a physical address. All live planting material should be properly cared for immediately upon arrival. Leaving plants in packing cartons for extended periods of time will result in plant damage or loss. Please open and inspect your live plants immediately upon receipt. We reserve the right to reject damage/plant loss claims if the products are not properly cared for immediately upon arrival.

We’re sorry, but we are unable to ship nursery stock outside the continental United States as well as California.
